Today I want to share with all my friends of how to make a simple cream puff the and most importantly delicious cream puff = D
Ingredients (10 pieces)
- 100ml water
- 45G room-temperature butter and cut into 1cm
- 60g plain flour, sifted
- 2 eggs (100g)
Directions
- Preheat the oven too 200 degrees and cover tray oven with aluminium foil and rub oil on it
- Bring the water and butter to a boil in saucepan over medium heat
- Stir in the flour,sugar and salt, stirring constantly over medium heat until the dough forms a smooth ball. Remove the dough from the heat and cool
- When the dough has cooled slightly, transfer it to an electric mixer or bowl that can fit an egg beater
- Gradually add in the eggs, beating constantly. Mix until the dough has become a smooth, thick and paste.
- May either pipe the dough from pastry bag.
- Space each puff two inches apart
- Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
- Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees continue cooking for 30 to 40 minutes until shells are golden. They should be dry inside when split.
- Turn off the oven and open the oven door. Let shells sit in open oven for an additional 10 to 15 minutes
- Cool and then fill with filling
